Welcome to the Northern Ireland Social Care Council

The Northern Ireland Social Care Council is responsible for registering social workers and social care workers, for regulating their education, training and practice and for investigating and dealing with complaints about the conduct of social workers and social care workers.

We are helping increase public protection by improving and regulating standards of social care workers' conduct, training and practice. Find out about our work as:
