Our Services

NISCC Enquiries Team - provides advice and support materials to inform you about our work and the services we offer. Email us on info@nisocialcarecouncil.org.uk  or call 028 9041 7600 (option 2).  Enquiries Line is open Monday to Friday 9.00-13.00 and 14.00-16.00.

Workforce Education & Training - materials about education and training opportunities for the sector can be downloaded from the Careers section of this website.  

Registration and Regulation for Social Care Workers - Information and advice about applying to register, the NISCC Codes of Practice, or about the training and development needed to keep your registration valid is available from the Registration section of this website.

Conduct Team - We will investigate concerns about a social care worker’s behaviour or the quality of the care they are providing.  Information about the standards a registered social care worker must meet in their conduct, training and practice is available from the Conduct section of this website.  There is also advice on what to do if you have concerns about a social care worker’s behaviour or the quality of the care they are providing.  You can contact the Conduct Team in confidence by emailing conduct@nisocialcarecouncil.org.uk or calling 028 9041 7600

NISCC is located in the heart of Belfast city centre. It is beside Great Victoria Street train station and Europa (Glengall Street) bus station. Both stations can be accessed from the Great Northern Mall on Great Victoria Street. Public hire taxis are available at the front of the Great Northern Mall. Limited on-street car parking is available in the area, most of which is metered. There are a number of pay-per-hour car parks close to Millennium House. These can be accessed from Sandy Row and Hope Street. (Hope Street is one-way and must be accessed from the Sandy Row end). The NISCC office has been designed to ensure disabled access in all parts of the accommodation and induction loops have been fitted to the seminar rooms. If you need assistance accessing the building, please ring in advance to ensure someone is available to help you.
