NOS in Children's Care, Learning and Development

NISCC has worked with partners across the UK to develop the new National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. These NOS were developed following a UK-wide review of the NOS in Early Years Care and Education in 2003/04. They have been designed to provide a basis for work with children aged 0-16, in many settings and services. The new NOS and related National Vocational Qualifications and awards are available in Northern Ireland from 1 November 2005.
