NOS in Contracting Procurement and Commissioning
Commissioners and workers involved in procurement and contracting are at the forefront of ensuring that the provision of social care services is of high quality and based on improved outcomes for people who use services. Together with our Sector Skills Council partners we have developed a specific set of national occupational standards for workers involved in the commissioning, procurement and contracting process. These national occupational standards have been developed to provide consistent and clear benchmarks for the delivery of a quality commissioning service. They will also be used to develop qualifications that meet the needs of the sector.
