NOS in Leadership and Management for Care Services
The NOS for Leadership Management for Care Services are now complete. Qualifications based on these standards are being developed by the Awarding Bodies and will be available later in 2009. These new qualifications will not only replace the Registered Managers Award (RMA), but also support a wide range of leadership & management in social care. The RMA wiil remain a valid and relevant qualification. Workers will not be expected to undertake this qualification if they have already achieved their RMA. Further information will be produced once awarding bodies have developed the qualifications.
