Our Partner Councils

NISCC is the regulatory body for the social care workforce in Northern Ireland. We are also the NI member of the UK Alliance ‘Skills for Care & Development’, which is the Sector Skills Council for training and development of the social care, children’s and young people’s workforce. General Social Care Council

Children’s Workforce Development Council (CWDC)

Responsible for workforce development and skills strategy for the Children, Young People and Families’ workforce in England. A partner in the UK Alliance of Skills for Care & Development.

Skills for Care

(Formerly Topss England ) Responsible for workforce development and skills strategy for the adult social care workforce in England . It is part of a UK alliance which forms the UK Sector Skills Council for Social Care, Children and Young People.
